:(....no shout outs. I really love 'em. They bring a big smile to my face when I see that somebody maybe chuckled even a little reading my little observations...but enough with my pathetic attempt at attention.
I'm back at school and should be preparing for my phonics classes today, but wanted to just take a min. on the computer before motivating to teach reading once again.
Don't know exactly how to get to this next thing. Nothing bad, but just a little strange, at least by western standards. We're always taught to chew with our mouths closed and make as little amount of noise as possible when eating. Not Corean style. At first, I thought it was just me being over-critical whenever I'd eat with Coreans, but I've just come to realized it's that way almost always. What I mean is that they have an overly annoying habit while eating. Imagine this incessant smacking while eating with someone else. It doesn't matter what food it is. There's a general lip-smacking going on regardless of the gender, food or location. It's a little weird, but at least now that I recognize that it's normal here, I will no longer have to severly bite my tongue to hold back from saying something.
